Rochester Institute of Technology Review

Rochester Institute of Technology is a career-oriented, technology-focused university in Rochester, New York. This university signed up 14,045 undergraduate and 2,728 graduate students in fall 2009.
Besides its 1,300 acres in Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology has worldwide campuses in Kosovo, Croatia and Dubai. One of RIT’s nine colleges is the National Technical Institute for the Deaf; about 9% of RIT’s students are hard-of-hearing or deaf, and this university has the biggest team of professional sign language interpreters of any college in the globe.
The school has a helpful education program through which students obtain paid work experience at organizations in their field of study. RIT has 24 men and women’s university sports teams, with the symbolic figure of a Bengal tiger named Ritchie. These sports teams include Men’s Intercollegiate Baseball, Women’s Intercollegiate Basketball, Basketball, Crew, Cross Country, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Cheerleading, Softball, Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, and Volleyball.
