Skidmore College Review

Skidmore College is a private liberal arts college situated in Saratoga Springs, New York. It was founded in 1903. The most well-known undergraduate disciplines are English, business, studio art, psychology, biology, and government affairs. The school has amazing good and executing arts facilities and also equestrian center.
Skidmore faculty created the Collaborative Research Program in 1988, which offers students with possibilities to co-author papers and studies with professors. The Skidmore Honors Forum was created in 1998.
The college also obtained a 2012 Sustainability Leadership Award from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education for its green geothermal strategy to environment control in its architectural structures.
Waffle Fest is a highlight of the semester’s end – students mix and match toppings to make their personal waffles for dinner during last examinations. One more important event is the yearly Beatles tribute concert where college students conduct modern interpretations of Beatles’ classics to increase money for charitable organisation. Significant alumni consist of New York State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno’52, and members of the band Ratatat. Skidmore College takes part in NCAA Division III athletics. The school symbolic figure is the Thoroughbred.
