SUNY, Geneseo is a four-year, coeducational, public university. The State University of New York-College at Geneseo is situated in Geneseo, Livingston County, New York, United States.It was founded in 1871 and is one of the State University of New York’s institutions.

All-College Free Hour is a devoted period of time each Wednesday when students have no lessons; during this hour they are motivated to be a part of clubs, go to lectures and participate in activities past their classes. After being painted on by students for the previous 42 years, the “Painted Tree” is approximated to be covered by a minimum of 1,000 levels of paint.
The State University of New York-College at Geneseo competes in NCAA Division III athletics. The symbolic figure is the Blue Knight.
