United States Military Academ Review

The United States Military Academy was founded in 1802 and has regularly improved its quantity of cadets since to support American military progress. The academy is a four-year coeducational federal service academy situated in West Point, New York. It is the oldest of the five service academies.
Candidates are needed to have a nomination from a member of Congress and have the possibility to select from forty five majors. At the finish of study, students earn a commission into the U. S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. The cadets will serve in the Army as Active Duty Soldiers. Benedict Arnold was a general during the American Revolutionary War. He tried to sell the outpost to the British, but his courier was grabbed before the letters were brought.
The United States Military Academy competes in Division I athletics as the Black Knights. Significant alumni consist of two presidents – Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ulysses S. Grant, 18 NASA astronauts and 74 Medal of Honor recipients.
